Here's what I'm A Celeb fans have been complaining about to Ofcom this series - cosmopolitan.com

Every year, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here inevitably sparks a variety of Ofcom complaints, but this year the ITV show has already managed to receive more than 600 - and we're still days away from Sunday's final.

This year's viewer complaints to the TV watchdog mainly centre around "perceived bullying" and also a controversial "clubfoot" comment James Haskell made.

Speaking to his fellow campmates as he watched Ian Wright run through the camp, he said: "He’s completely lost the plot. Look at that clubfoot."

He received further complaints for saying he was "too intelligent" to take part in the "circus of stupidity" when it came to the celebs deliberating over their Dingo Dollar Challenge answer.

James and Ian were also accused of "bullying" campmate Andrew Maxwell after the comedian decided to take a nap following his Bushtucker Trial, instead of helping Caitlyn with the washing up.

According to Metro.co.uk, former rugby player James's "clubfoot" comment has now sparked 119 complaints, while "perceived bullying" from a variety of campmates across various episodes received 107 complaints.

Viewers also complained about a Bushtucker Trial which took place on 24 November. Radio star Roman Kemp and James had to lie in a bed full of snakes while given 90 seconds to remove stars from one side of the bed before screwing them back in on the opposite side of the bed.

The trial received 72 complaints because viewers thought they didn't have enough time to complete it. One I'm A Celeb fan tweeted at the time: "That last trial was rubbish!! No way was it enough time. Impossible to do and set up to fail. Disappointed."

Fans have also complained to the watchdog about the welfare of animals 57 times, despite the show putting an end to using live insects as part of the trials.

Last year, I'm A Celebrity came in at number nine on the most complained about show that year (Celebrity Big Brother was first) with 335 complaints.
