I'm a Celeb viewers want a public version of the Celebrity Cyclone trial - digitalspy.com

While we're gutted that Nadine Coyle and Caitlyn Jenner have gone, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! was still well worth watching tonight (December 7) because of the iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial.

Andy Whyment, Jacqueline Jossa, Kate Garraway and Roman Kemp all donned tight lycra superhero outfits to take part in the wet and windy obstacle course – which for once didn't involve them eating bugs or being covered in offal.

The challenge saw the celebs carrying giant stars up a slippery hill while being pelted with inflatable balls thrown at them by the production crew.

Kate went first and managed to make it to the marker in good time, but Jacqueline slipped and had to start again before eventually powering on through to her marker.

Roman managed his part of the trial without much issue, leaving Andy to take over, who was sent flying back by a tidal wave of red water, which also pushed Jacqueline back to the start.

However, he powered through to the end and made it with less than five seconds to spare.

As always, viewers absolutely loved watching the trial, so much so that many questioned why there isn't something like this for the public to take part in. Can we start a petition or something?

One person decided they didn't even want to take part in it as a contestant – they just want to throw things at celebrities.

Although there's no IRL version of Celebrity Cyclone, as announced over the credits of the episode, a live experience called the I'm a Celebrity Jungle Challenge is coming to Manchester next year.

It will apparently have ziplines, climbing walls, parachute drops and a recreation of the famous campsite. No giant waterslide trial from what we can see, however. If you want to take part, sign up here.

Now the Cyclone is out of the way, all that remains is the final!

I'm a Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV, followed by I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp on ITV2.
