Although it was called one of the best I’m A Celeb line ups in years, it has been revealed that the ITV show has lost millions of viewers since it started two weeks ago.

With A-list celebs such as Caitlyn Jenner taking part this year, the show was expected to draw in big numbers.

While 10.63 million people tuned into the very first episode, this dropped to just 5.46 million viewers last Saturday.

In addition to this, compared to this time last year, 1.23 million fewer people are tuning in every night.

A source revealed to The Sun that I’m A Celeb producers are worried about the spiraling numbers and are blaming some of the lesser-known celebs for the decreased in viewers.

‘There are some great names in Caitlyn Jenner and Ian Wright,’ the source admitted.

‘But with every star, there must be lesser-known people – and some viewers think there are just too many unknowns.

‘There hasn’t been heaps of drama and viewers look to be turning off in quite large numbers at the moment’.

In addition to this, producers are worried that the female I’m A Celeb contestants boycotting the jungle shower has had an impact on viewership figures.

Back in 2006, footage of Mylenne Klass in the I’m A Celeb shower sent viewers wild as she showered in the public shower.

However, this year’s contestants didn’t want the same thing to happen to them.

‘[The shower secenes] aren’t happening this year,’ a source said last week.

‘All the girls are much more reserved this year [and] have been trying to wash discreetly’.

Although viewers may be turning off I’m A Celeb due to Z-listers and a lack of sexy shower scenes, it can’t be said that they’re turning off due to a lack of drama.

There have been many fights in the camp in recent weeks and one incident between Ian Wright and Andrew Maxwell resulted in 32 complaints.
