Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has described her ex-bandmate Nadine Coyle's time on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! as being "hard to watch".

Kimberley had to see her friend endure jumping out of a plane as well as getting up close and personal with plenty of critters during her three-week stint in the jungle – all of which made for some uncomfortable viewing for those who are close to the star.

"I thought Nadine did really well," Kimberley told Mail Online. "It's not something that she would be naturally comfortable doing and it was hard to watch.

"But she did well, I'm so proud of her. She sailed right through."

However, don't expect to see Kimberley following in Nadine's footsteps anytime soon, as the ex-Strictly Come Dancing contestant said she doesn't "have any desire" to do I'm a Celeb.

During Nadine's time in the jungle, Kimberley also had to respond to bizarre tabloid reports that she and fellow ex-bandmates Nicola Roberts and Cheryl had a WhatsApp group in which they organised voting for Nadine to do the Bushtucker Trials.

Kimberley told Loose Women that reports of the WhatsApp group were "completely untrue".

"It did surprise me and Cheryl," she added. "She texted me saying she was absolutely crying her eyes out, this is awful.

"I just don't like the negativity because I do actually want her to do well and I'm impressed that she's doing so great."

I'm a Celebrity aired on ITV and its aftershow I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp aired on ITV2.
